Menrath Antiqua by Jbriggs/fontage.ca is a free handwritten display font with tall, wavering strokes and the quick movement of marker lettering. Its uneven joins and shifting stroke widths feel genuinely hand drawn, yet the letters remain spare and open.
The same loose construction can lend an approachable voice to cafe branding and children's publishing, or a more personal edge to music posters and album artwork. In packaging, the lettering can become part of an illustrated label or hand-rendered shop sign rather than serving as neutral product text.
