Author's note

Merkur by Malwin Bela Hurkey is a free futuristic display font with broad, angular letters cut into repeating triangular facets. The open breaks give every letter a crystalline, engineered texture.

Technology packaging gives this lettering a ready-made structural pattern that feels angular and highly graphic. It also suits music posters and game graphics with a geometric science-fiction setting. The recurring triangles can extend into borders, icons, or background patterns, tying the lettering directly to the surrounding artwork.
