Metal Macabre by BoltCutterDesign is a free gothic display font with blade-like ornament. Tall letters combine broad vertical strokes with pointed cuts and long, hooked extensions. The uneven silhouettes have the theatrical aggression of heavy metal lettering.
Its thorny contours can merge with skull, weapon, or tattoo illustration in album artwork. Concert posters and band merchandise benefit from the same dark, hand-drawn edge. Horror game titles and Halloween event graphics offer another convincing setting for its sharp, menacing forms.
