Author's note

Metalmod by Bruno Viegas of FontStruct is a free geometric sign dingbat font built from stark rectangular masses and sharp chevron cuts. Its symbols use solid upright blocks with deep angular notches that suggest arrows, markers, or pieces of fabricated metal. The construction is spare and strongly modular.

Designers working in electronic music, gaming, or industrial culture can use these forms for posters, merchandise, and event graphics. The symbols can also become compact emblems within technology branding. Across those settings, the repeated hard edges and directional cuts connect the type with machine controls, wayfinding signs, and futuristic hardware rather than ordinary lettering.
