Author's note

Metalover is a free medieval blackletter font with an intensely ornamental silhouette. Heavy vertical strokes meet hairline connectors, spear-like tips, diamond terminals, and long curls that sweep beneath the letters. The repeated spikes and hanging points give the lettering a severe, ceremonial character.

Gothic music and medieval drama are its clearest territory. It suits album artwork, concert posters, fantasy game titles, and dark apparel, where the elaborate capitals can take on the role of a crest. On event invitations, those pointed ornaments can echo ironwork, heraldic borders, or tattoo-style illustration.
