Author's note

Metrophobic by Vernon Adams is a free contemporary sans serif with tall, open lettering and a notably light touch. The generous proportions keep the thin strokes from feeling brittle.

Editorial covers are its strongest setting, where the clean drawing suits restrained photography and modern illustration. It also fits cultural posters, museum programs, and understated branding, though magazine publishing makes the best use of its calm, measured shapes and unhurried spacing.
