Metropolis 1920, designed by Josip Kelava, is a free retro display font strongly rooted in 1920s Art Deco lettering. Its extremely tall, narrow capitals use repeated monoline strokes, rounded arches, and sharp diagonals to create an architectural, almost neon-sign structure.
Jazz-age nightlife and early modern city imagery make it a natural fit for event posters, cocktail packaging, and fashion editorials. Its clearest audience is fashion, hospitality, and entertainment brands.
