Micro by Willi Wissler of FontStruct is a free pixel font built from crisp, square-edged modules. Its tall, spare letters use abrupt right angles and deliberately open joins, recalling early low-resolution screens. Rounded forms become compact boxes.
The same economical geometry suits retro game interfaces and contemporary technology branding, linking nostalgia with a clean digital look. It can also give electronic music covers and event posters a coded, machine-made edge. In product identity, the block structure can extend into icons, borders, or simple interface graphics.
