Author's note

Micursif by Gaël Chrétien is a free handwritten font with tall, loosely drawn letters and an unmistakably playful silhouette. Uneven stroke widths, soft bends, and shifting proportions give the lettering a personal quality, with narrow forms opening suddenly into broad, rounded curves.

Its casual storybook character suits children's publishing, comic title cards, and cheerful event posters, especially when the lettering shares the page with lively illustration. For magazine cover lines and activity-book headings, the lanky shapes can become part of the editorial artwork rather than simply labeling it.
