Midas Script Blocked, created by Wolf Lambert in 2012, is a free techno display font with broad, squared forms and a strict mechanical stance. Rounded cutouts and clipped joins interrupt the rigid strokes, and the mix of wide letters with narrower forms creates an uneven, coded rhythm.
Digital graphics are its most convincing setting, especially interface titles, arcade branding, and electronic music artwork. The same industrial geometry also suits product packaging and event posters, linking each application through the look of machine-cut signage.
