Author's note
Midnight by Cloutier Fontes is a free trash-style handwritten font with tall, uneven letters and a raw, cutout-like silhouette. Rough edges and sudden bends keep the lettering deliberately unruly.
It is strongest on gig posters where the agitated forms can echo punk, metal, and underground music. Album covers, streetwear graphics, festival flyers, and horror event artwork also suit its abrasive, hand-painted manner. The scraped edges and irregular joins can become part of distressed collage imagery rather than serving as neutral type.
