Author's note

Mido by Eva Grinder is a free old-style serif with broad, firmly bracketed serifs, strong vertical strokes, and a calm, distinctly literary bearing. Its lines narrow sharply through smooth curves, and the full rounded lowercase forms keep the design warm and measured rather than severe.

Publishers can use it for book covers and journal mastheads. The same restrained proportions suit exhibition graphics, heritage branding, and refined food packaging, especially when those projects need to suggest tradition without elaborate period ornament.
