Minaeff Ect Bold by Sergiy S. Tkachenko is a free high-contrast serif font with an unusually broad, commanding silhouette. Thick vertical strokes meet hairline joins and long, flat serifs, producing letters that feel architectural and slightly eccentric. Several forms are strikingly wide.
It is most convincing in poster headlines, where its dramatic proportions can establish a formal but unconventional voice. The same sharp stroke changes suit fashion branding and cultural event graphics, while magazine covers can turn the expansive letterforms into a central editorial device rather than ordinary supporting text.
