Minotaure Gothique by Paintblack is a free modern Gothic display font with towering, tightly drawn letters and a severe vertical silhouette. Broad black strokes taper into hooked points, with thin internal cuts and abrupt white openings breaking through the forms. The repeated blade-like shapes feel carved rather than penned.
Album artwork is its most convincing setting, especially for metal, dark ambient, or theatrical music. The same narrow, confrontational lettering could shape horror film titles, game branding, and event posters built around occult or medieval imagery. It is strongest as the central emblem for a dark music release.
