Misery by Terry Sampson of FontStruct is a free pixel font built from stark square modules and narrow, upright letterforms. Stepped diagonals give the lettering a distinctly low-resolution edge.
Rooted in early computer graphics, it suits game menus, electronic music posters, and technology branding with an intentionally bare digital look. In magazine covers and editorial features about coding or gaming culture, the block-built letters can function as both typography and interface-like imagery.
