Author's note

Mississauga by Ray Larabie, from 1999, is a free serif font with tall, narrow forms and pointed serifs that give the letters a sharp, upright profile. The repeated slim strokes and small round dots keep the word shape crisp across the line without turning ornate.

Mississauga suits magazine mastheads, book covers, invitations, menus, logo marks, and poster titles, where its narrow serif rhythm can carry short text with a composed, slightly formal edge. It also lends a tidy accent to packaging and editorial captions when a standard serif feels too plain for short copy.
