Mixed Messages JL by Jeffrey N. Levine of Jeff's Fonts & Dingbats is a free experimental geometric display font built from letterforms that shift sharply in width, shape, and construction. Angular cuts and abrupt width changes keep the lettering unsettled.
Its mismatched forms suit music posters and game graphics, but they can also give streetwear branding a collaged look. Event merchandise and album packaging can both treat the mismatched letters as separate graphic elements.
