Mobitec (13x9), by teiixeira of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free dot-matrix pixel font modeled on compact electronic displays. Its letters are assembled from evenly sized round dots, with steady strokes and softly stepped curves. The grid is obvious, yet the forms retain the familiar proportions of everyday sans serif lettering.
Transit signage is the strongest fit, and the same practical display texture suits timetable graphics, technology branding, and game interfaces. The dots can become an actual readout element, folding labels and status messages into the interface itself.
