Monarchia font is a free gothic medieval initials font with an ornate drop cap and a blackletter-style alphabet. The opening letter is wrapped in curling, vine-like ornament, while the rest of the set keeps sharp, narrow forms with pointed tops and carved inner cuts that give it a manuscript feel.
Monarchia works well for book covers, title pages, certificates, fantasy branding, poster accents, and invitation headers where that old-world lettering can carry the design.
