Author's note

Morse Tech by Neale Davidson is a free barcode symbol font with steeply slanted bars and emphatic changes in width. The shared diagonal angle gives the pattern a fast, mechanical cadence.

Its industrial technology styling suits electronic music artwork, science-fiction game graphics, and event posters built around coded or machine-made imagery. On packaging and merchandise, it can become a banded product mark, giving a brand the look of a scanning label rather than ordinary text.

--

Morse Tech is a visual representation of Morse code based on the toy labels from Hasbro’s Transformers: Action Masters line. It includes the complete American Morse Code and numerous characters from the International Morse Code.
