Mortised Ornaments by Paulo W is a free art dingbat font built around engraved scrollwork, cartouches, and decorative frames. Its curling leaves and shell-like flourishes recall carved furniture details and old printing ornaments. The drawings range from compact dividers to elaborate borders and medallions.
These motifs can echo the ornament in period illustration or become decorative elements in book covers, invitations, and heritage packaging. They are especially useful for creating emblems and labels with an antique, hand-engraved identity.
