Author's note

Mator, created by Guilhem Greco, is a free eroded display font with broad, heavy capitals and an industrial silhouette. Scratches, chipped patches, and long scuffs cut through every letter. The wear resembles scraped paint and battered metal rather than a soft vintage fade.

Those abrasive marks echo distressed photography and mechanical illustration in motorsport posters, garage branding, and apparel graphics. On album covers and magazine spreads, the lettering can become part of the printed texture, offering editors a forceful treatment for punk, racing, and workshop themes.
