Author's note

Motorway by Vic Fieger is a free old-school eroded display font shaped by tall wood-type forms and a narrow inner inline that creates a framed, poster-lettered silhouette. The rough breaks along the tops and edges feel cut into the design rather than layered on later, giving the lettering a worn sign-paint presence.

That combination makes sense on garage posters, rockabilly flyers, bar menus, label graphics, and vintage-style packaging where the distressed surface needs to stay decorative, not messy. Short headlines and logo-style titles benefit most, since the inline detail and chipped outline give each word a stamped, roadside character.
