MouseBits by M. Klein is a free hand-drawn portrait dingbat font built from spare, uneven lines. Its faces and creature-like figures have simplified features, offbeat proportions, and the direct quality of quick notebook sketches.
The oddball cast suits themes of childhood, homemade storytelling, and eccentric humor. It can supply illustrated emblems for children's publishing, indie music merchandise, or playful event posters. Because eyes, noses, ears, and outlines carry the expression, each symbol can function as both a pictorial mark and part of a larger cartoon scene.
