Author's note

Mucha French Capitals by Alfonse Mucha is a free Art Nouveau outline display font with tall, softly modeled capitals and generous interior shapes. The letters combine broad curves, narrow connecting strokes, and uneven hand-drawn contours. Changing stroke widths give the forms the organic, crafted quality of turn-of-the-century poster lettering.

It is especially convincing for exhibition posters, where the sculptural outlines become part of the decoration rather than ordinary titling. Museum merchandise, book covers, and invitations also suit its elegant curves and theatrical scale. These settings share an Art Nouveau link to ornamental illustration, decorative borders, and period poster art.
