Author's note
MuRdOiNk MKDA, a free distorted display font by Shadow's Illusions, takes stately serif capitals and cuts them with a hard horizontal break through the middle. That repeated split gives the lettering a disrupted, poster-like rhythm, where familiar shapes still read clearly but never settle into a conventional formal look.
It makes the most sense for album art, horror flyers, streetwear graphics, title cards, and dark event posters where that sliced construction can do more than plain serif lettering. Short branding lines, cover treatments, and dramatic headers benefit most, especially when you want something severe and theatrical without turning fully chaotic.
