Author's note

Myanmar3, designed by Sun Tun of Myanmar NLP, is a free high-contrast serif font with a formal, editorial bearing. Its broad letters combine very thin hairlines with weighty vertical strokes and crisp, flat serifs. Rounded forms are expansive, and the lighter details give the design an elegant but emphatic silhouette.

Designers working in fashion, culture, and premium retail will find it suited to magazine covers and campaign graphics. The pronounced stroke changes also lend distinction to cosmetics packaging and event posters, especially when a refined, classical note fits the subject. Its clearest role is in publishing, where the generous proportions and sharp serif details make mastheads feel deliberate and established.
