Author's note

Nazanin by Borna Rayaneh is a free Arabic typeface with a poised, traditional bearing. Its flowing strokes change weight gently, giving the letters a measured cadence. Compact joins and rounded forms keep the writing cohesive.

Literary and cultural subjects suit it particularly well in books and magazines. It also fits poetry programs and heritage event posters, where the restrained drawing supports serious material. The lettering can also become an ornamental border or calligraphic illustration.
