Author's note

Negative by Max Infeld of Xerographer.com is a free graffiti display font with jagged, hand-drawn capitals and an aggressively fractured silhouette. Uneven outlines and dense vertical hatching give the letters the look of quick marker sketches filled in with repeated strokes. Triangular gaps and broken joins keep the alphabet raw and restless.

Music posters are its strongest setting, where the scratched texture can echo photocopied artwork and underground gig graphics. The same rough construction suits streetwear branding, skateboard merchandise, and album packaging, while magazine cover lines can use its cut-up forms as part of a punk-minded editorial theme rather than polished lettering.
