Author's note
Neon Serif is a free groovy display font with broad capitals drawn in tightly nested lines. The stripes round arches and snap into pointed wedges, recalling 1970s optical posters. Its silhouettes are wide and emphatic.
Packaging is a particularly good medium for these patterned forms, especially on record sleeves and retro food labels. The same striped construction suits music posters and fashion merchandise with a strong period reference. Used as a title, the lettering can become part of an op-art border or radiating illustrated emblem.
