Author's note

Newland by V. Romanov is a free cartoon display font built from hefty, irregular capitals. The letters lean and flare in different directions, with blunt edges, sharp notches, and changing widths that give the line the cut-paper liveliness of a hand-drawn title.

Its comic-book spirit makes it a natural fit for children's entertainment and game graphics. It also suits posters and snack packaging centered on mischief, monsters, or noisy action. In those settings, the uneven silhouettes can become part of an illustrated logo or sign rather than serving as neutral lettering.
