New Style Italic by PJL '95 is a free old school display font with a slanted, calligraphic silhouette and sharp, angled serif details. The overall silhouette stays loose and forward-moving, so the letters read as one continuous sweep rather than separate blocks.
New Style Italic fits logos, poster titles, album art, packaging, and editorial pull quotes, where a short line needs the strong slant to carry the layout. It also suits menu headers, since the angled forms give brief copy a clear, old school cadence without needing extra decoration.
