Nine By Five NBP, created by Nate Halley, is a free pixel font with tall, lean proportions and a spare electronic character. Its strokes stay light, and the letters are sharply squared.
A retro technology label or indie game studio could use it to evoke early computer displays without a bulky arcade style. It also fits game interfaces, electronic music posters, and packaging, where the narrow lettering gives text a wiry mechanical profile.
