Nix, designed by Matias Romero in 2010, is a free decorative display font with broad rounded letters, soft rectangular joins, and a distinctly retro-futurist build. Repeated pinstripes and circular cutouts break up the dense letter silhouettes.
Science-fiction entertainment is its natural territory, especially game graphics and album covers that can echo the lettering's control-panel details and bright machine-age wit. The rounded geometry also suits arcade branding and novelty packaging, where the letters can act like custom hardware badges rather than ordinary type. Its most convincing role is a title treatment for a playful space-age production with a strong technological theme.
