Author's note

NK126, by V. Romanov with later work by Nikola Kovanovic, is a free Cyrillic display font with a stark old-script mood. The letters are built from very tall vertical strokes and clipped, sculptural curves, giving the font a severe rhythm that feels closer to carved lettering than to everyday text.

That narrow, ceremonial color suits poster titles, book covers, cultural event graphics, mastheads, and short packaging names where a free font can carry a historical accent without turning ornate. It works best in brief lines, initials, and title cards, because the compressed forms and dramatic uprights create a strong, almost architectural silhouette.
