Author's note

NK44 is a free Cyrillic inline display font with a stark, late-modernist feel. The letters are built as tall rectangular frames, repeated in narrow parallel lines that make the whole design feel architectural, almost like signage drawn with neon tubing and ruled paper at once.

That gives the font a natural place in poster headlines, record sleeves, title cards, event graphics, and sharp-edged branding where short words can carry the pattern. As a free font, it also fits zines, club flyers, editorial openers, and monogram-like initials, especially when you want the vertical rhythm and striped interior to do most of the visual work.
