Nocna Straza by Nikola Kovanovic is a free Cyrillic blackletter font with a dark, Slavic medieval mood. The letters feel cut rather than drawn, with steep angles, compact rhythm, and pointed joins that give the font a watchful, severe presence without drifting into fussy ornament.
It suits poster titles, book covers, music packaging, festival graphics, and pub or event branding where that old-world tension helps set the scene. As a free font, it also works well for short headlines, title cards, and monogram-style initials, because the dense, jagged forms carry atmosphere fast and do not need many words to establish it.
