Author's note

Noises in the Attic by Kevin Christopher is a free distressed horror display font with blunt, irregular capitals and a heavily abraded surface. Dense vertical scratches run through the strokes, giving the lettering a frantic, gouged appearance. Uneven edges and ragged joins keep the forms raw rather than neatly weathered.

Horror and underground music audiences will recognize its abrasive character on film posters, album covers, and haunted house signage. In game graphics or Halloween merchandise, the scratched letters can become part of a damaged wall, smeared print, or other unsettling illustration instead of serving as neutral type.
