Noria by David Berlow at Font Bureau is a free geometric sans serif with stark, angular construction. Steep diagonals create a severe, cut-paper silhouette.
Posters are its clearest setting, especially for architecture, experimental music, or stark cultural events. It also suits record sleeves and fashion branding that benefit from hard geometry. The blocky forms can become part of a logo emblem or directional sign, rather than sitting apart as neutral text.

Description
Berlin Sans is based on a brilliant alphabet from the late twenties, the first sans that Lucian Bernhard ever designed, imaginative and little-known. Assisted by Matthew Butterick, David Berlow expanded the single font into a series of four weights, all four complete with Expert character sets, plus one dingbat font.
