Author's note

Nosfer font by Eric Oehler is a free scary display font with sharp serif cuts, narrow strokes, and pointed, uneven endings that give the letters a carved, haunted edge. The forms feel spare and tense, with a few long, knife-like descenders that make the whole face look more like title lettering than regular text.

Nosfer is well suited to horror posters, Halloween invitations, book covers, title cards, and themed logos, where those jagged details can carry the mood fast. This free font also works well for event flyers and decorative header text when you want the wording to feel ominous without becoming ornate.
