Notwell by High-Logic.com is a free eroded Western display font with slab serifs and a battered, letterpress-like surface. The capitals are tall and broad, with uneven edges that make each form appear chipped and weathered. Ink splatters sharpen the rough frontier character.
Posters provide an ideal medium for its theatrical scale and distressed detail, particularly for Western events or roots-music promotions. It also suits rugged beverage packaging and vintage-themed merchandise. The scattered marks can merge with woodcut illustrations or aged print textures, turning the lettering into part of the artwork.
