Author's note

Nu-century-gothic Bold font designed in 2003 is a free eroded display font with rounded, cut-up forms and rough, chipped edges. The distressed texture breaks across the letters in uneven patches, giving the design a worn, scraped surface without losing its blunt silhouette.

Nu-century-gothic Bold suits concert posters, album covers, skateboard graphics, zines, and distressed logo lines that need a rough finish. Its broken surface also fits packaging, title cards, and short editorial accents where a weathered edge feels more useful than polish.
