Author's note

Oak Wood font by Jim Pearson, is a free display font with a carved silhouette that moves between smooth round forms and sharp, cut-in angles. That alternating shape gives the letters a signlike presence, more like an emblem than ordinary text.

Oak Wood suits logo marks, album covers, poster titles, packaging, and shop signage, where the irregular outline can carry the whole composition. It also brings character to book covers, craft labels, and short display phrases that need a decorative edge on the page.
