Author's note

Obscure Actions, created by Keith Bates for OA04 using Vittore Baroni's choice of Corsiva, is a free calligraphic script. Its fine, slanted strokes and connected letters resemble quick formal handwriting, with long curves that keep the line moving.

The script works well for exhibition materials, poetry covers, invitations, and personal stationery that call for an intimate handwritten voice. Its delicate construction is best given a little breathing room, particularly on textured backgrounds or layouts with dense imagery.
