Author's note

Odalisque NF by Nick Curtis of Nick's Fonts is a free high-contrast display serif with the theatrical elegance of Art Deco lettering. Hairline curves and broad dark strokes meet in sharply tapered forms, with circular shapes set against tall, commanding verticals.

Fashion branding is its most convincing setting, since the extreme stroke changes and poised proportions give names the look of a couture masthead or perfume label. The same refined drama also suits magazine covers, luxury packaging, and invitations for formal events, where the fine curves can echo borders, foil details, or ornamental illustration.
