Author's note

Old Evils, created by Press Gang Studios in 2012, is a free scary display font with a rough brush-cut edge. Its tall letters lurch between broad black strokes and sudden needle-like points. The silhouette looks torn and aggressive.

A horror poster is its clearest role, especially for slashers and haunted attractions. Album covers, game graphics, and Halloween merchandise also suit the frantic lettering. Across those uses, the ragged forms resemble claw marks or ripped paper, linking words to violent imagery.
