Author's note

Old Game by Ben Ratcliff of FontStruct is a free pixel display font built from stark square modules. Its letters use abrupt right angles, stepped curves, and open internal gaps that recall early arcade screens. The forms are rigid and compact, with a handmade bitmap roughness.

Arcade interfaces and electronic music posters are its strongest settings. The same squared forms can turn retro-tech packaging into a screen-era reference or give a magazine cover the blunt geometry of an early digital display.
