Author's note

Old Letterpress Type by Doug Sheets is a free serif with tall capitals, broad bracketed serifs, and the dense authority of nineteenth-century poster type. Its strokes shift noticeably between thick verticals and finer joins, giving the letters a forceful, carefully drawn silhouette.

Brands with a taste for heritage typography will find it useful for brewery packaging and restaurant signage. It also suits historical posters and editorial covers. The same old-print character links these uses, turning names and headings into something close to a vintage shop mark.
