Oldtimers by M. Klein of Typoasis is a free military dingbat font depicting warriors across history. The figures range from mounted fighters and archers to spear carriers and armored soldiers. Strong silhouettes alternate with fine line drawings, preserving helmets, shields, weapons, and horses.
Museum graphics and history books can use them as markers, and tabletop games gain ready-made unit symbols. They also suit reenactment posters. Each character can function as a badge or scene element rather than ordinary lettering.
