Author's note

Olivetti Type2 by Hernan Asorey is a free distorted typewriter-style display font with fractured, uneven letterforms. Broad slab serifs and changing stroke widths give the alphabet the look of damaged metal type. The breaks are sharp and conspicuous.

Illustrations of torn paper, photocopied textures, and rough collage shapes share its chipped geometry, making the font useful for punk posters and album packaging. Its battered print quality also suits horror title cards and experimental magazine covers. Designers working in underground music, independent publishing, or gritty entertainment branding will find its deliberate damage especially relevant.
